Quick answer: Foronda is about 90 km from Logroño (around 1 hour), but its big advantage is the Rioja Alta: Haro is about 45 minutes away and Laguardia less than an hour. If you land in Vitoria, we pick you up at the terminal itself and take you to any town in La Rioja at a fixed price.
Vitoria-Gasteiz lies just north of the Sierra de Cantabria, the mountain barrier that shelters the vineyards of the Rioja Alavesa. From the airport there are two ways down into the Ebro valley: over the Herrera pass, with spectacular views across the Laguardia vineyards, or round via Miranda de Ebro towards Haro. That is why journey times vary quite a lot depending on the town:
